OMG, I am so so SO lame for not posting a blog entry in so long. I know, I know. But it is the new year! Why bother with recriminations? Time for a fresh start, doodles!
And with that, 10 Exciting(ish) Things, in no particular order:
1. A friend of mine (who shall remain nameless) lost her skirt while running to the subway. Hahahahaha. Oh, that makes me laugh--in a very loving way, of course. To quote Thirteen Plus One: Nekkid boy bottoms! It burns! It burns!!!!!! (Although the subway bottom was of the female variety...)
2. Speaking of Thirteen Plus One (which comes out on May 4th, for those who have been asking), Cinnamon tries to get Dinah to go to a teen nudist camp and be the teen nude ambassador. Does Dinah accept or decline? I'll never tell.

3. My mother-in-law gave me a new gadget for Christmas. Last year, it was the Magic Bullet. (E. Lockhart, hush your dirty mind. It is for smoothies.) This year? The Grillinator! I don't eat much meat, though, so this morning I made a grilled PB&J to take with me to work.
4. Grilled PB&J's aren't as delish as one might think. Not three hours later, anyway.

5. Arizona (where I spent Christmas break) is delish, however.
6. So is SLOB, by Ellen Potter.

7. Over the break, I got lots of super sweet emails from girls (and the occasional guy) who received books for Christmas. Books by me, no less!

Thanks for the nice words--and yes, Luv Ya Bunches fans, there will be a second Luv Ya book. In which there are friend trubs, boys, and hamster drama.
8. Hamsters are awesome.

9. So is the new paperback cover for Peace, Love and Baby Ducks!

10. And finally--pant, pant--DUCKS has been nominated for a Teen Choice Book Award, which makes me all kinds of happy. Think it should make the top five short list? If so, cast your vote here!
